This book is a tutorial for absolute beginners that doesn't teach you a whole lot about Delphi.
The 300 pages are filled with information that could have been said in half (even by only using a somewhat less bigger font type) and of which 99% can be found in the regular manuals that come with Delphi.
Maybe the book is more readable than the Delphi Manuals, but if you've read it you will want (need) some more advanced books to be able to really start working with Delphi.
