Comments Mastering Delphi 2 went on a diet: from almost 1500 pages to just over 1040. Marco cut down some examples, moved large parts of source code to the CD-ROM and still managed to cover every new Delphi 2 topic (such as OLE and multithreading). Marco loves completeness, both in the topics that are focussed on in this book and in the number of ways to solve a certain problem or dilemma. Because of this, the book is suited for beginners as well as advanced users. This is not just a book with text followed by long listings, but rather text with screenshots and only those parts of the code listing that are relevant. This way, the source code is build up while you're reading the text, not afterwards (and the complete source code is on CD-ROM, including many other tools and sources).
