This book convers both Delphi 2 and 1.
In practice, it started out as a 16-bit Delphi book, and the 32-bit stuff was added lateron.
The title indicates that the book is for "experienced programmers", but this is a bit too much.
The book has a lot of topics for beginners and the depth of most topics is just not deep enough to justify an "advanced" label (and no, recursion is not an advanced programming technique - page 203).
The book has very limited database coverage.
There are topics and places (nuts and bolts) of the book that are of value, and generally, it's no more than a good intermediate book for some Delphi topics.
