As I mentioned before in my first post in this Delphi category, Robert Coates is trying to split of Delphi from Borland, and turn it into its own company.
According to this, Robert Coates has offered US$ 150 million for the Delphi Division and Deploy Group of Borland, but Borland's Board of Directors has rejected the offer, explaining that "Delphi and Deploy are integral to Borland's business and growth strategy, and are not for sale".

There's some discussion about this going on in Nick Hodges' blog.
I can only hope that whatever will happen, will be the best for Delphi (add the whole Delphi Team).
